I would like to unpack the importance of educators taking risks in class through building strong positive, trusting and professional relationships with students in class using a wide variety of resources; social media, hip hop, STEM, no matter the class subject. Making school meaningful for our students requires supports for our teachers and administrators through intentional risk taking. Through the resources I would like to present, teachers, TAs and administrator with the tools needed to begin the relationship and risk taking process with their individual learners in their classes, making the learning more meaningful, personalised, and encouraging students’ success in a supported school environment.
Using activities that will engage the participant and presenting research around this topic, and the importance of having a Positive Mental Attitude #PMA would be done in a personalized manner.
